Motorola MB8611 DOCSIS 3.1 Cable Modem Review After Several Months. Im getting the correct speed at my router and the internet is working fine in the home but on the modem the internet light the little globe is off, the up and down stream arrows are sloid blue and the networking light is blinking blue like normal but the globe is off. The workaround is to power cycle the modem, which clears up the DS light blinking but then it comes back after about 24 hours.
